These cookies are so good. They are wonderfully moist. Almost everybody turns their nose up to them till they try them, then they are begging for more! They are always a hit!!!

½ cup butter or margarine 1½ cup sugar 1 egg, 1 cup canned pumpkin 1 teaspoon vanilla 2½ cups flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon nutmeg, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 bag chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar together, beat in egg, pumpkin and vanilla. In seperate bowl, mix & sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture; mix well. Add chocolate chips, mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoons onto WELL GREASED cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheet while still warm. Cool on racks. ENJOY!!!
