Combine 1 package (2-layer size) of yellow cake mix 1 package of Jell-O Pistachio Instant Pudding 4 Eggs 1 Cup of Water ½ Cup of Oil (or applesauce for low fat recipe) ½ teaspoon of almond extract 1 Pint of Sour Cream Mix all these ingredients in a large bowl and blend. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer for approximately 2 minutes. Pour ⅓ of the batter into separate bowl; stir in ¼ cup of chocolate syrup. Spoon batters alternately into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Zig-Zag spatula through batter to marble. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 50 minutes or until center of cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool for 15 minutes before removing from pan. * If you're not a chocolate lover, you can leave out the syrup and combine ½ cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and ½ cup of finely chopped nuts (pistachios) for another option of this yummy dessert!
