Pear Upside-down Cake Teaser: Description: This is my own twist to the old school pineapple upside-down cake. It is rich, moist and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
Butter Recipe cake mix
4-6 fresh or 3 canned pears
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¾ cup margarine or butter (melted)
½ c. brown sugar

Prepare one box of your favorite Butter Recipe Cake Mix (following directions on box, set batter aside)
In a 13 x 9 pan put melted margarine then line pears up and down the pan. Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg over pears. Then pour batter over pears
Bake at 350 degrees in glass or 325 degrees for non-stick metal pan for 40-45 minutes, or until toothpick put in center comes out clean.
