Old Fashioned Banana Nut Cake

Wonderfully moist and delicious banana nut cake.


3 cups sifted flour 1 teaspoon. salt 2 teaspoon. baking soda 2½ cups sugar 1½ cups Wesson oil 3 beaten eggs 6 tablespoon. buttermilk 1½ cups ripe mashed bananas 1 cup black walnuts

Sift together flour, salt,and baking soda. In large mixing bowl combine sugar, oil, and eggs. Beat until creamy. Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating after each addition. Add bananas and nuts. Mix well. Pour into a greased and floured bundt cake pan. Bake in oven for 1 hr. at 325 degrees. Cool completely before inverting and taking out of pan.
