Mrs. C's Apple Crumb Coffee Cake

A yummy apple cinnamon flavor with lots of crumbs for the real coffee cake lover. A great compliment to a hot cup of coffee, tea or just by itself.




Part 1-Cake Part 1 stick of butter or margarine (melted) ¾ cup sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1¾ cup Aunt Jemima Self Rising Flour ¼ cup milk 2 Macintosh Apples Part 2-Crumb 2 sticks butter or margarine (room temp) 2 Cups Gold Medal All Purpose Flour 10 Tbs sugar 1 rounded tbs cinnamon

Part 1 Melt Butter or Margarine Add sugar and beat Beat in eggs one at a time Add Vanilla, Flour and Milk Beat Well and pour into greased 13X9 inch pan Peal apples and place very thin pieces over the batter Part 2 Place 2 sticks butter in large bowl Add Flour, sugar & cinnamon Mix with hands until the mixture is moist and crumbles easily. Crumbly onto the top of the cake and apple mixture. Bake @ 375 degrees for 40-45 min Let cool and sprinkle with confectionery sugar
