Mom's Apple Pie

My favorite pie, just add ice cream.




6 to 8 Apples ⅓ cup White sugar ⅓ cup Brown sugar ¾ teaspoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon lemon juice Refrigerated Pillsbury Pie Crusts.

Eat with ice cream on top to really feel guilty.


Combine sugars and cinnamon in mixing bowl. Core and peel apples than slice with slicing blade in Cuisinart Food Processor using small feed tube. Put apples in mixing bowl and stir, add lemon juice and stir again. Follow instructions on Pillsbury Pie Crust. Add apples and dot with the butter. Put on top crust and flute edges - sprinkle a little sugar on the top and slit top crust in at least 4 places. Put on microwave safe plate and cook in microwave for 15 minutes in 5 minute increments. Transfer pie plate to a cookie sheet than bake in oven at 350 to 400 degrees for 20 minutes making sure crust is golden brown on edges. Bake for 5 more minutes if crust not golden. Let it cool and Enjoy!
