Grammy's Popcorn Balls

Yummy treat and very simple to make




2 quarts freshly popped popcorn
1 cup sugar
⅓ cup light corn syrup
⅓ cup water
¼ cup butter
2/4 teaspoon vanilla.

Pop popcorn and set aside in a large metal bowl. Prepare baking sheets with waxed paper to lay your finished popcorn balls on. In saucepan combine sugar, corn syrup, water and butter and vanilla, bring to boil. When boiling, pour over the popcorn and mix with a wooden spoon. Take hands (buttered) and shape into the desired size of popcorn ball.
