5 dozen cookies
½ lb salted butter (room temperature)
1 cup brown sugar
2¾ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix all ingredients together well. Divide dough in half. Shape long rolls in wax paper about 1½ inches in diameter. Refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight. Slice dough 1/16 inch and place round on cookie sheet. Place chip on round. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy.
