Ingredients
- 1 stick (¼ lb) unsalted butter
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
Preparation
- Preheat the Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven Broiler to 325°F on Bake setting.
- Lightly coat an 8-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- Place butter and unsweetened chocolate in Cuisinart® MultiClad 2¾ quart sauce pan. Using low heat, melt butter and stir until chocolate and butter are completely melted. Remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes.
- Stir in sugars, eggs and vanilla; stir the mixture until smooth with a wooden spoon. Add flour and salt; stir to blend. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Transfer to prepared pan.
- Bake the brownies in 325°F oven for about 35 minutes. Cool on a rack. When completely cool, cut into squares.
