Dutch Apple Pie

⅓ cup sugar ⅓ cup firmly packed light brown sugar 1 TBSP cinnamon 6-8 large tart apples 9 inch pie crust Topping 1 cup flour ½ cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 9 in pie crust 1½ cup flour 1½ TBSP sugar 1 teaspoon salt ½ cup oil 2 TBSP milk ½ cup butter or margarine

Pie Crust 1. Mix flour sugar & salt 2. Put in pie tin 3. Beat ½ cup oil and 2 TBSP milk 4. Pour over flour mixture, stir with a fork and form into a ball and pat down Prepare Apples 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2. Combine sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl . Press out lumps and add sliced apples. toss well and fill pastry shell. Dot with butter. Topping 1. Combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. 2. Cut butter into mixture to make topping crumbly. Put over apple filling. *Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until apples are tender. Cover for the last 10 minutes if topping gets to brown. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping and enjoy!
