Creamy and delicious low carb and low sugar custard!
2 Cups Heavy Cream
3 Egg Yolks
2 T Egg Substitute (Egg Beaters)
1 T. Vanilla Extract
1 oz square of unsweetened baking chocolate
1 packet diet hot cocoa mix (Swiss Miss Sensible Sweets)
8 Packets sugar substitute

Heat cream in sauce pan on low heat. Whisk in one egg yolk at a time and the egg substitute. Add vanilla and whisk continuously until custard thickens. Remove from heat. Immediately add contents to your Cuisinart stand Mixer whisk in the unsweetened chocolate until fully melted. Add the diet cocoa mix and packets of sugar substitute one at a time. Mix until the custard reaches room temp before adding it to the Cuisinart Ice Cream maker bowl. Allow to mix in the Ice Cream maker for 20-25 minutes. Custard can immediately be served.
