Chocolate Cream Pie


8 small individual servings


4 egg yolks slightly beaten
4 cup corn starch
4 oz chocolate, unsweetened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnomon
1 teaspoon alomond extract
1 cup sugar
3 cups milk
1 tablespoon butter
8 small containers with premade pie crust
Whipped cream and cocoa powder for garnish

In medium bowl, combine sugar and corn starch, and mix well. Gradually add milk and chocolate. Over medium heat, cook until it starts to get thick and bubbly, or for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the egg yolks and cook another 2 minutes. Remove from heat again and stir in butter, vanilla and almond extract and mix well. Pour mixture into pie dishes with premade pie crust, refrigerate 2 hours before serving. When ready to serve, add whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder on top as a garnish if desired.
