Moist chocolate dessert cake. No need for frosting this one.
1¾ C. Boiling water
1 C. Uncooked quick oats oatmeal
1 C. Brown sugar
1 C. White sugar
½ C. Margarine
1¾ C. All purpose flour
1 t. Baking soda
½ t. salt
1 T. Baking cocoa
12 oz. Bag of semi-sweet mini chocolate chips

Measure and boil water. Remove from heat and place in mixing bowl. Add oatmeal. Stir to make sure all oatmeal is covered. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Margarine should be at room temp. (I will often times place the cube of margarine in the oatmeal and water for the 10 min. It will soften nicely there for you)
When 10 minutes are up place the oatmeal and margarine in your mixer bowl. Add both sugars and mix for a minute or so to cool. Add eggs. Mix.
Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa. Mix.
Add half bag of the choc chips. Mix.
Place in 9x13 pan sprayed with some non stick spray (I usually use glass)
Pour batter in 9x13. Sprinkle remaining chips on top. Place in preheated oven 350 degrees, for 35 to 40 min. Is done with inserted tooth pick clean test.
