1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 20oz can crushed pineapple
1 cup sugar
2 3oz pkgs vanilla instant pudding mix
3 cups milk

Bake cake as directed. When cool, poke holes in cake. Combine pineapple and sugar and cook a few minutes. Pour over cooled cake. Mix pudding and milk as directed on package and pour over pineapple mixture. Cover with coconut. Frost with cool whip.
