1 stick of unsalted butter (softened)
2 tabs, cornstarch
2 teaspoons vanilla

beat all ingredients except eggs, until creamy, then add eggs one at a time (important) grease 10 in. spring pan. fill w/mixture. put pan inside a roasting pan ½ filled with water, Bake at 375 approx 1½ hrs. let cool, top with favorite fruit ie cherries, pineapple, blueberries etc.
