Apple-Cherry Crisp

Fruit Filling: 6 medium unpeeled apples- preferably Honeycrisp 1 can cherry pie filling Topping: ½ stick butter ¼ C chopped almonds ¾ C uncooked oatmeal ¼ C brown sugar ¾ teaspoon. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 F. Chop apples so that you have chunks and combine with cherry pie filling. Spoon into deep dish pie baker. Place topping ingredients in Cuisinart and pulse briefly- until just combined. Sprinkle evenly over fruit. Bake- about 40 minutes- until bubbly. Enjoy warm, room temperature, or cold.
