Amazing Sugar Cream Pie

So decadent and wonderful, no one can resist this pie.


1 c. Sugar 4 Tbs. Flour 3 Tbs. Butter – melted and cooled 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 c. Heavy cream (or 1 cup heavy plus 1 cup half and half) 1 prepared pie crust

Mix Sugar and Flour together well. Add melted butter and vanilla to flour and sugar. Add ¼ c. cream and mix until smooth Add remainder of cream and mix until smooth. Over double boiler, heat and stir constantly until thick. DO NOT BOIL. Pour into prepared pie crust and bake at 400 for 10 minutes then bake at 300 for 30 minutes until set.
