1 Cup Ricotta
1 Cup Flour
2 Taplespoons Baking Powder
1 Taplesoon Vanilla
Brown Paper Bag
Put all these ingredients in a bowl and beat until well mixed.
1 Cup Ricotta, 1 Cup Flour, 2 Eggs, 2 Tablespoons Baking powder and 1 Tablespoon Vanilla.
Select a deep frying pan or pot. Put 2 inches of oil in pan and get oil hot before adding your batter.
Place a heaping Teaspoon full of batter into oil. Watch carefully so that all sides are browned and not to burn. Make sure the ricotta ball is cooked all the way thru. They will swell up to become larger as you are frying them. Remove from frying pan with a slotted spoon.
When browned take out and lay on a cookie sheet lined with paper towel for grease to drain off.
Put your powdered sugar in your brown paper bag. Put your ricotta balls in powdered sugar bag and let ricotta balls get all covered with the powdered sugar. Place 2 at a time in your bag. May have to do it a couple times.
Best to make a couple of hours before serving.
This can be used also as a Appetizer, or with your main meal or as a dessert. You will not be able to stop eating them!
