Cinnamon Pecan Shortbread

Easy Cinnamon Pecan Shortbread Cookies


1-1/2 c. unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
1 c. powdered sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
2-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Use one of the butter wrappers to very lightly coat a 9” x 13” pan. In a food processor, cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. In a separate mixing bowl, stir flour and cinnamon together. Add to butter mixture in food processor. Process until just blended and dough starts to form. Add pecan pieces and process until dough forms. Press dough into 9” x 13” pan. Score into 1-1/2” squares and pierce each piece twice with fork tines. Bake 40-45 minutes until lightly brown and firm to touch. Score again while warm. Cool in pan on rack.
