Christmas Crunch Bars

Ingredients

Saltine Crackers
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 bag of chocolate chips
1-2 cups crushed peanuts (honey roasted, or any kind)


Instructions

*Preheat oven to 350
*Line cookie sheet with foil
*place saltine crackers, side-by-side, to cover the cookie sheet
*bring butter and sugar to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved (about 5 minutes)
*pour mixture over crackers and spread evenly
*bake for 5 minutes
*let cool for 5 minutes
*pour chips on top evenly
*let the chips melt (or put in the oven for a minute or 2 until melted)
*spread chocolate evenly on top
*sprinkle crushed peanuts over top
*refrigerate for one hour
*break into pieces
*keep refrigerated
