Norwegian Plum Tart
Easy plum tart"


1 cube butter
1/2 c bakers sugar
zest from one lemon
3 eggs
1 c flour
1/2 ts baking powder

8-10 large black plums (depending on size)
1/3 c almonds, chopped
pearl sugar


Cream butter and sugar in Cuisinart food processor w/ metal blade in place. Add zest.
Add eggs, one at a time. Process well. Add flour w/baking powder. Cream together.
Spread in buttered 10" quiche pan.

Cut plums in wedges, and place overlapping in concentric circles in pan. Sprinkle chopped almonds over fruit, and follow with pearl sugar.
Bake in 375 degree oven for 35-40 min.
Serve warm or cold with a dollop of creme fraiche.
