Pecan Honey Raspberry Baklava

An American twist on the traditional Greek baklava. "


6 Puff Pastry Shells
1 Cup Finely Chopped Pecans
1/3 Cup Raspberry Jam
1/3 Cup Honey
2 Tb Brown Sugar
1/4 Tb Cinnamon


Bake Puff Pastry as directed by packaging.

In your Cuisinart food processor finely chop nuts.

Combine Pecans, Brown Sugar, and Cinnamon in a bowl.

In a separate bowl, combine Raspberry Jam and Honey. Microwave for 15 seconds or until melted.

Mix in all but 3 Tb of Honey-Raspberry Filling into Nut mixture.

Fill Puff Pastry Shells with Pecan Honey-Raspberry Filling.

Drizzle remaining Honey-Raspberry filling on top for artistic and tasty finish.

Best served hot. Vanilla Ice Cream a welcome companion.
