What more is there to say than, this is the best apple pie I have ever tasted/created. Pink Lady Apples are the secret to this recipe. It brings the slightly sour taste of a Granny smith, and the sweetness of a Gala Apple to a bursting flavor that blends so well it'll make you crave it all week long.

2 Cups Flour
3/4 Teaspoon Salt
2/3 Cup Shortening or Butter
6 Tablespoons Ice Water

8 Cups of thinly Sliced Pink Lady Apples
3/4 Cup of sugar
3/4-1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice

1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/8 Teaspoon Nutmeg (Optional. I always leave it out.)
