Grapenut Pudding

6 eggs
3/4 to 1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of brown sugar
Pinch of salt
1 Qt of milk
1 Tsp. Vanilla
Pinch of Nutmeg
3/4 cups of grapenuts cereal


Beat eggs; add sugars (wire whip ok)
Add salt, milk, and vanilla. Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole dish
Sprinkle grape-nut cereal over top of custard mixture along with nutmeg.
Bake at 400 degrees for 1/2 hr. then lower heat to 375 degrees bake another 20 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
