Sour Cream Coffee Cake




2 sticks butter, softened 1½ cups sugar 2 eggs 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon. baking powder ½ teaspoon. baking soda ½ teaspoon. salt 1 cup sour cream 1 teaspoon. vanilla Topping ½ cup chopped nuts ½ cup brown sugar ¼ cup sugar 1 teaspoon. cinnamon

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and cream together. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, and add alternately to egg mixture with sour cream. Add vanilla. In a small bowl, prepare the topping. Grease and flour 9" x 13" cake pan. Pour half of batter in pan and sprinkle with half of topping. Repeat. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
