This recipe is great for brunches or party foods.
2 cups of self-rising flour
2 heaping tbsp shortening
1 cup milk
1 lb sausage
8 oz shredded cheese

Cook one to two rolls of sausage (hot and mild). Drain sausage. Cut shortening into flour. Add milk so the mix is not dry but sticky enough to roll out biscuits. Stir in sausage and the desired amount of shredded cheese. Roll out and cut biscuits. (This makes one recipe. You can double the recipe depending on the number of people.)
