Hot Muesli

A new way to eat oatmeal in the morning.  This hearty breakfast is full of protein to get you going and keep you feeling full.

Yields

Makes about 6 cups

Ingredients

1        cup steel-cut oats

½       cup short-grain brown rice

½       cup quinoa

⅔        cup chopped pecans

⅔        cup raisins

¼       cup unsweetened shredded coconut

2 to 4  tablespoons pure maple syrup

2        tablespoons coconut oil

2        cinnamon sticks

¼       teaspoon kosher salt

          Pinch ground nutmeg

2¼      cups water

Instructions

Put all of the ingredients directly into the steamer without the tray. Secure lid.

Select Manual, set timer for 1 hour and press Start. Once timer expires, allow mixture to rest in steamer for an additional
5 minutes.

Carefully remove steamer lid. Remove cinnamon sticks, stir and serve immediately.
