Homemade "Heart Healthy" Granola

Naturally sweetened, crunchy, nutty, and healthy!

Ingredients

2 cups rolled oats (not instant) 1 cup chopped almonds 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/2 cup coconut 1/4 cup wheat germ 3/4 cup dried fruit (I use Welch's Berry Blend of blueberries, cranberries, cherries and golden raisins) 1/4 cup canola oil 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup pure maple syrup 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp vanilla dash of salt

Instructions

Mix the oats, nuts, coconut, wheat germ, cinnamon and salt; set aside. Mix oil, honey, syrup, and vanilla in a separate bowl and mix well. Pour oil mixture into the oat mixture and mix well. Spread evenly on a jelly roll pan and bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown stirring every ten minutes. Turn out onto foil and let cool. Add fruit and stir to combine. Store in an air tight container and enjoy!
