Wonderful way to use up leftover fruit from holiday trays. Your children won't even know they are eating melon and kiwi!

Ingredients
2 cups cantaloupe melon pieces
2 cups honeydew melon pieces
2 cups seedless grapes
2-3 peeled kiwi slices
1 cup strawberries
¾ cup dark brown sugar
1 cup red wine
1 cinnamon stick

Instructions
Place all ingredients into a large pot and heat mixture to simmer. Simmer until all fruits are soft, stirring every so often so that mixture won't burn. Remove from heat and cool enough so that you can handle easily. Use Cuisinart to LIGHTLY puree (in 2-3 batches) until fruits are indistinguishable from each other. Store in refrigerator, in closed container. Serve warm over waffles, English Muffins, toast; or serve cold over ice cream, rice pudding, et al.
This works fine with fruit that isn't quite ripe enough, or if that fruit tray has lost its "fresh" look.
