Cottage Cheese Rolls

1 cup Butter
2 cup small curd creamed cottage cheese
⅛ teaspoon salt
2 cup flour (sifted)
Vanilla glaze
Your choice of jam

Have butter and cottage cheese at room temperature. Combine in your Cuisinart mixer with salt and flour, and process until smooth and elastic. Cover and chill for several hours, or overnight. Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Roll out 1 part about ¼ inch thick and cut with a 2½ inch cookie cutter. Make a small depression in each. Place ½ teaspoon jam in center. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until browned. Either dust with confectioner’s sugar or cover with vanilla glaze.
