Chocolate Strawberry Banana Protein Shake

This is a healthy, high protein, low fat shake that can be consumed at any time of the day, such as breakfast, mid morning snack, or after a workout.




2 scoops of chocolate protein powder mix (balance, MetRX, Trader Joe's) 1 cup of non-fat milk (use soy based milk if lactose intolerant) 9 large fresh or frozen strawberries ½ large ripe banana 9 medium sized ice cubes

1. Mix all ingredients into blender, cover and use mix setting for 1 minute. 2. Open top, stir ice and strawberries (checking for and breaking up any clumps), close top, mix for 1 more minute. 3. Let it stand for a minute or two then pour into tall glass and enjoy!
