Makes a 1-1/2 pound dough

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water, room temperature
  • ¾ teaspoon honey
  • 1½ teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1½ tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2⅔ cups bread flour*
  • ½ cup plus 1 tablespoon whole wheat flour*
  • 1¾ teaspoons yeast, active dry, instant or bread machine

Instructions

  1. Place ingredients, in order listed, into the bread pan fitted with the kneading paddle and secure in the Cuisinart Bread Maker.
  2. Press menu to select the dough program.
  3. Press start to mix, knead and rise. For best mixing results, scrape the pan 10 to 15 minutes after the program has started.
  4. When cycle is completed, remove dough and follow your favorite pizza recipe. * May use all bread flour rather than using part whole wheat flour.
