A moist & delicious zucchini bread
⅔ cup shortening
2⅔ cups sugar
3 cups shredded zucchini
⅔ cup water
3 ⅓ cups flour
2 teaspoon baking soda
1½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
2 teaspoon vanilla
⅔ coarsely chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottoms only of the 3 loaf pans.
Mix together the shortening & sugar. Add the eggs, zucchini, & water.
Blend in the flour, soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, & vanilla.
Stir in the nuts & chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the 3 pans. Bake for 60-70 minutes. Cool slightly. Loosen the sides & remove from pans. Cool completely. Wrap & refrigerate for up to 10 days, or freeze.
