4 cups all purpose flour
¾ cups sugar
1 tablespoon. baking powder
¾ tablespoon. baking soda
1½ teaspoon. salt
1 pound butter, cut into small 1" pieces
2 cups buttermilk
½ cup chopped white chocolate
1 cup dried cranberries

Measure all dry ingredients into a mixer bowl.
Cut up butter into 1" pieces, keep cold.
Measure the buttermilk and set aside.
Place mixer bowl on the stand and mix on low, using the paddle attachment. Add the butter pieces to the dry mixture and mix until it looks like coarse meal. (About 30-45 seconds)
Add the white chocolate and cranberries do not over mix.
Quickly add the buttermilk, mix until it all comes together.
On a floured surface, roll out the scone dough to 1" thick. Cut with a medium round cutter.
Sprinkle tops of scones with sugar and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
