Beer Bread

Easy bread recipe that changes flavor based on the brand of beer used.




3 ½ cups self-rising flour ⅓ cup sugar 1 egg, at room temperature 12 oz. beer, at room temperature

Pre-heat oven to 450°F. Combine all ingredients into mixing bowl and combine well. Mixture will be somewhat lumpy to smooth depending on how well one mixes the batter. Pour batter into a well greased pan or non-stick loaf pan. Bake for 60 minute or until the loaf sounds hollow when tapped. For variation, add ⅔ cup of dried vegetables of 1 cup shredded cheese.
