Cheesy Garlic Bread
Makes 12 servings
Rich and definitely cheesy, this garlic bread can be enjoyed as an appetizer or as a side dish with a big bowl of pasta.
Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 large garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley leaves, chopped
- 1 baguette, halved lengthwise and widthwise
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- ½ cup shredded cheese, such as a mixture of provolone, asiago, and Parmesan, but any good melting cheese will do
Preparation
- Put the butter, oil, garlic, and parsley in a small saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat until the butter has melted, stirring occasionally.
- Brush the garlic butter on the cut side of each piece of bread. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and then sprinkle the cheese evenly over each piece.
- Select Bake at 350°F for 6 minutes and press Start/Stop.
- When the air fryer is preheated, carefully place the bread in the basket, and put back into the air fryer.
- Carefully transfer from the basket to a cutting board. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
