Cherry-Ginger Shake

Coconut milk beverage is made for drinking with fewer calories and grams of fat than canned coconut milk. For a thicker, creamier shake, substitute 2/3 cup canned coconut milk for the coconut milk beverage.

Ingredients

1          cup dark, sweet frozen cherries cup

¾         cup coconut milk beverage

            ½-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled

Instructions

1. Put all of the ingredients, in the order listed, into the blending cup. Select High and blend, using a gentle up-and-down motion, until smooth, about 30 seconds or more. 2. Serve immediately.
