Thanksgiving Salsa

A refreshing take on the Thanksgiving cranberry: Cranberry Salsa with cilantro, honey, etc.




12 oz. fresh cranberries 1 cup orange juice 2 diced tomatoes ½ cup diced onion 1 diced green pepper 2 teaspoon chili powder 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper ¼ cup chopped cilantro ¼ cup honey Tabasco to taste Orange zest

Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Place ⅓ of salsa in Cuisinart. Blend until smooth. Return mixture to bowl. Stir well. Once in serving bowl, garnish with orange zest. Serve as garnish/relish for turkey OR double recipe to serve as appetizer with tortilla chips.
