½ Cup Packed brown sugar
1½ tablespoon water
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon allspice
⅛ teaspoon cloves
⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
1½ cups almonds, cashews, pecans or walnut halves or combination

In 2 quart casserole, combine sugar, water, salt, cinnamon, allspice, cloves and nutmeg. Cook at High 1 to 1½ minutes, or until sugar is melted; stir in nuts. Cook at High 4 to 5 minutes, or until syrup begins to harden. Immediately pour nuts mixture onto buttered cookie sheet. Spread thinly. Cool; break into small pieces.
With the invention of no stick foil, you can line a cookie sheet with it and spread the nuts out on it. Works great and much less clean up.
