Roasted Pecans

Wonderful nuts to serve as appetizer or snack. My family loves the salty, crunchy and nutty flavor.




4 cups pecans 2 cups water ¼ cup salt

Add ¼ cup of salt to 2 cups of water. Stir to dissolve. Add 4 cups of pecans. Let stand at room temperature for 1 or 2 hours. Pour off water and rinse pecans. Place on paper towel and dry as much moisture as possible. Place on baking sheet and bake for 1 hour at 250 degrees. Let cool.
