This is a recipe my mother would serve as an appetizer at most of her gatherings. Everyone loved them.
Yields
8 to 10 depnding on pear size and consumption
Ingredients
2 Cans Pear Halves
6 oz. Cream Cheese
3 Tbsp Sour Cream
6-8 Slices Crispy Cooked Bacon

Instructions
Cook bacon strips until just crisp. Set aside to cool.
Take cream cheese and sour cream and whip until just light and fluffy.
Drain pears and arrange on platter.
Place about ½ Tbs of the cream cheese and sour cream mixture in the hollow of the pears on platter.
Crumble crisped bacon over the pears to cover nicely.
Serve cold
