Unusual and wonderful combination of peppers and kraut. Some people eat it for a snack or side dish.

Ingredients
2 pkgs banana peppers
2 #10 can sauerkraut
4 cups sugar
3 cups apple cider vinegar
2 cups water
1½ teaspoon celery seed
1½ teaspoon turmeric
1½ teaspoon mustard seed

Instructions
Clean banana peppers and stuff with sauerkraut. Place in jars.
Combine the following and heat until sugar is dissolved.
4 cups sugar
3 cups apple cider vinegar
2 cups water
1½ teaspoon celery seed
1½ teaspoon turmeric
1½ teaspoon mustard seed
Fill jars with liquid. Put lids on and cold pack 15 minutes, after the water comes to a boil.
Store in the refrigerator.
Double batch of brine, fills 13 Quarts.
