Ingredients

4 hot dogs

4 hot dog buns

½ cup chopped tomatoes

4 tablespoons shredded Cheddar

1 jalapeño, sliced

¼ cup cilantro leaves

Preparation

1. Place the griddle plate on the top half of the Griddler and the grill plate on the bottom half of the Griddler. Preheat the Griddler on Sear with the unit closed.

2. After the Griddler has preheated, open the unit into the flat position. Place the hot dogs on the bottom grill plate, evenly spaced. Grill for 5 to 8 minutes, turning halfway through cooking. While the hot dogs are cooking, toast the hot dog buns on the griddle plate.

3. Transfer the hot dog buns to a cutting board, and then put a hot dog in each bun. Cut each hot dog into 3 pieces. Divide the tomatoes, Cheddar, jalapeño, and cilantro evenly among the hot dogs. Serve with your favorite condiments.
