Rustic guacamole. Appetizer or side dish.

6 ripe avocados, peeled, pitted & roughly chopped
1 onion, diced
2-3 Serrano chilies, stemmed & finely diced
*sub: 1-2 jalapenos or to taste
4 teaspoon minced fresh cilantro
4 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup lime juice (about  lime)
3 medium tomatoes, grilled & diced (grilling not necessary, but adds extra dimension)
½ teaspoon. - ½ tablespoon. salt to taste

Place avocados and all other ingredients except salt & pepper in a large mixing bowl. Combine ingredients with a potato masher or fork until ingredients are well incorporated, but with some texture remaining to the avocados. Season w/salt & pepper to taste.
