4 good sized tomatoes extra virgin olive oil chopped garlic italian seasoning grated locatelli romano cheese

cut tomatoes in half (side to side). Put cut side of tomatoes directly on the grill. Grill them for about 5-6 minutes so that you can see the grill marks. In the meantime, heat the garlic in the olive oil. When you turn the tomatoes over, spoon the oil and garlic on the cut sides, top with the italian seasoning and grated cheese. It sometimes helps to put the tomatoes in an aluminum pan on the grill. Continue grilling until the cheese starts to turn a bit brown.
