Grilled fruit and cheese sandwich

Flatbread wedges which make a simple and tasty appetizer.

Ingredients

2 Large whole wheat flatbread
2 Pears, (apples or figs also work well)
1/2 lb of good melting cheese

Instructions

1. Cut the unpeeled pears into thin slices and place in single layer on one piece of flatbread
2. Grate the cheese and sprinkle evenly on pears. Top with 2nd slice of flatbread.
3. Bake or grill until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted. Cut in wedges and enjoy.
