Butternut Squash Bisque

A smooth tasty bisque with a hint of tomato bisque.




1 large butternut squash about 2 cups ½ c half and half ½ cup sour cream ¼ teaspoon Tabasco 2 cups chicken broth ¼ cup v8 juice salt and pepper to taste

Peel the squash and cut into 1" square, cook till tender about ½ hour. Place cooked squash in your Cuisinart blender, add remaining ingredients and blend till creamy. Pour into a small bowl and add ½ teaspoon sour cream on top. Yumm, It make me hungry for some just typing this recipe.
