Hummus is healthy and can be used as a dip or spread on a sandwich instead of mayonnaise.
- 1 can Garbanzo beans
- 1 tablespoon tahini paste
- ½ lemon
- Good quality olive oil

- Place in mini Cuisinart: Drained can of Hummus Tahini paste, lemon, salt and pepper in Cuisinart and grind until smooth, adding olive oil a little at a time until consistency is achieved. You can add water to thin.
- Add any fresh or dried herbs that you have on hand. You can change the recipe by adding fresh or bottled red peppers or sundried tomatoes
