This is a recipe I received from a co-worker many years ago. Although it contains mostly canned ingredients, it tastes really fresh. If you like your salsa really spicy, you can use the green can of El Pato sauce.
approximately 12 1/4 cup servings
1 14.5 oz can Mexican style stewed tomatoes, such as S&W
1 8 oz can Mexican style tomato sauce, such as El Pato (yellow can)
1 4 oz can chopped green chilies, such as Ortega
3 green onions, including green tops
⅓ bunch cilantro
3 cloves garlic
Place all ingredients in food processor and pulse until chunky.
Enjoy with chips or in recipes.
