Easy Spinach DipUser Submitted Recipe
1 - 10 oz. package of frozen chopped spinach, thawed
3-4 green scallions
1-2 T. chopped fresh dill (optional)
1-2 T. chopped fresh parsley
1 cup Hellman's mayonnaise (must be real mayonnaise - no substitutions or the taste will be altered)
1 tsp garlic salt
Completely thaw chopped spinach & drain out all water using a colander to dry spinach. Wring out excess water by hand or with a clean kitchen towel. Chop scallions, dill, & parsley in fine pieces using your Cuisinart food processor's chopping blade. Add spinach to the mixing bowl in smaller clumps. Then add mayonnaise to blend all together well, leaving some texture to the dip. Add garlic salt to taste. Avoid over processing. Chill & serve.
Excellent with carrots & celery or tortilla chips.
